Statement of Faith

At Mother of Hope Hybrid Academy, we uphold the truths of the Christian faith as revealed by God through Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. In signing this Statement of Faith, I affirm my belief in these foundational Christian principles:

Faith in the Triune God – I believe in one God, the Almighty Father, who created heaven and earth; in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, suffered, died, and rose again for our salvation; and in the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son and is the Lord and Giver of life. I affirm the core tenets of the Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed.
The Sacredness of Human Life and God’s Design for Humanity – I believe that God created mankind in His image, male and female (Genesis 1:27). Human dignity is a gift from God, and our identity as male or female is divinely ordained and cannot be changed. I believe that every human life is sacred from conception to natural death and that the life and dignity of every person must be respected and protected at every stage and in every condition (Psalm 139:13-16; Exodus 20:13).
The Sanctity of Marriage and Family – I believe that marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God as a union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6). The family is the foundation of society and is ordained by God for the nurturing and education of children in truth and love.
Respect for Catholic Beliefs and Practices – While Mother of Hope Hybrid Academy welcomes families of all Christian traditions, I recognize that its teaching is rooted in the Catholic faith. I will respect the Catholic doctrines, practices, and traditions taught within the Academy and will ensure that my words and actions reflect this respect in my interactions within the school community.
